Bangladesh Thrash Australia by Record Margin In Kabaddi World Cup 2016
Bangladesh performed to the next level and beated or I should say trashed Australia with a record margin yesterday in the Kabaddi World Cup 2016. Bangladesh scored 80 of 8 of Australia. The massive margin of win helped the Asian team shatter three records — most points scored in a match, record victory margin and most number of all outs in a match.
The Asian side dominated from the start of the match and did not give a single chance to Australia to come back in the game at the TransStadia here on Monday. For Bangladesh Aruduzzaman Munshi scored 17 points whereas Sabuj Mia scored nine tackle points.
It took Australia nine minutes to open their account as their defence made a tackle to trail 1-14. Neither Australia’s attack nor their defence could cope with Bangladesh’s intensity to crumble under pressure. Bangladesh made a super raid in the 20th minute to lead 36-2 at the end of the first half. With this win Bangladesh is on the top of group A.
