Inspiring Stories of Struggling Students Acing In Their Board Exams
The results of class X and XII are out. Students work really hard the whole year to score good marks in their final exams and hard work often pays off. There are many students who went through tough times in their lives but still be resilient. Here are some inspiring students who overcame their economical, emotional and physical hurdles and aced in board exams.
- Dhrashti Dhruv, even after being a patient of cerebral palsy, she scored 88% in class X
Dhrashti Dhruv is struggling from cerebral palsy since her birth and cannot hold a pen or write straight. But still she scored 88% in the Maharashtra Class X state board exams. She said, she was confident to score above 80%, but getting 88% is more than her expectations. She got 98 in math and 90 in social science.
- Tushar Rishi, cancer struggler, scored 95% in CBSE XII
In 2014, Tushar Rishi left knee was detected having cancer. He visits AIIMS, New Delhi every 3months and even though after such a condition, this boy from Ranchi scored 100/100 in fine arts. He got 95 in English and 93 in mathematics. Inspirational Rishi is also a writer and in his book ‘The Patient Patient’ he has written his struggle against cancer.
- Amit kumar, couldn’t pay school fess and decided to take a drop, scored 98.2% in XII board
Amit kumar wanted to drop out from his school as he wasn’t able to pay the fees. His father is a laborer in Bharatpur. He got the aid from the director of a private school, who funded is education and put up in a hostel, and Kumar from his side didn’t let all the efforts go in vain. He scored 100 in chemistry and math and 97 in physicals, totally scoring 98.2% in Rajasthan Class XII board exams. He wants to be an IAS officer.
- Nitish Kumar Mahato, worked as a security guard at night, scored 87.60% in class X
Nitish Kumar Mahato, who worked as a security guard at night to help his family in financial stability scored 87.60% in the state Class X exams. After his father’s death, life has been tough at him, but he didn’t give yup. In the morning he used to attend classes, whereas in night he worked as a security guard at a residential apartment in Ranchi. He carried his books with him at night to study at duty. Currently he’s been helped by some residents of the apartment he did duty at, the All Jharkhand Students Union party, few NGOs and even a surgeon living in the UK.
- Nurul Hoque Ali, whose father is a truck driver, scored 98% in class X
Nurul Hoque Ali’s father works as a truck driver that means he spend most of his time on roads where he transports goods. Nurul is the youngest and studies in a government school. He scored 98% in Assam Class X board exams. He missed the first rank by just 1 mark. We are proud of you Nurul.

Supriya has been struggling against blood cancer since 3 years but she didn’t let her cancel pin in between her success. Her parents have used all of their money in her treatments and dreamed of her being a topper, she didn’t let them down.
- Meenakshi Sharma, studied with the help of walls and doors, scored 90.8% in class XII
Minakshi Sharma whose family got shattered when his father, a rickshaw driver passed away as they cannot afford treatment for illness, didn’t let anyone down. She studied by writing in walls and door of her house with a stone and studies under street lights as they cannot afford electricity. When she scored 90.8% in UP Class XII board exams she hopes she can now eventually become a chemistry professor.

Chhattisgarh state topper, Dhavendra Kumar sells vegetable with his mother at the local market of Chhattisgarh. He scored 90% in class X. his father is a wage earner and his brother was forced to stop his studies due to bad financial situations.
