Based  on a ‘Swacch Bharat‘ mission Akshay’s much awaited movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is slated to release in the next week and some interesting news has all of a sudden sprung up. This movie revolves around the plot of a woman(Bhumi Pednekar) who leaves her husband in the absence of a toilet in the house and the efforts his husband makes  to bring her back leading to a social revolution in a small village.  Knocking down the parochial thinking of the villagers, which also are prevalent in many parts of India today too, this movie touches the unexplored topics in Bollywood. With a social message supported by Mr. Narendra Modi too, it urges everyone to take charge and not wait for others to bring about changes in the country.

However, recently news is buzzing in the market regarding the title of the film. According to Akshay Kumar the film had been lying around for nearly four months and revealed that the original title of the film was Sandas: Ek Prem Katha, at a recent promotional event. Definitely, Akki is making sure he taps every opportunity to promote in the run up to the release of this film. Despite facing  controversies  it is expected to appeal a huge mass.
