‘Brand Ramdev’ Will Soon Be The Largest Brand In India

Currently it’s been named as the 4th influential brand in India after Google, Microsoft and Facebook. It left behind SBI, Airtel, Reliance Jio and Flipkart.

The speed at which Patanjali is growing, soon it can become the biggest firm of India and Baba Ramdev will be the next Ambani or Tata of India. The biggest plus point with Patanjali is that it’s a home-grown plant with n number of followers who believe in the ‘Brand Ramdev’. His image of a promoter of yoga, ayurveda, health and nationalism has reached out to every single individual of the country.

Patanjali has one more impact over the crowd, being the light for the socialist communities in India. In simple words, India being a socialist community has a lack of trust over multinational companies. At this point of time, Patanjali is standing as a ‘Swadeshi Alternative’ and a not-for-profit organization.

According to the company’s website data, the firm started from less than Rs 250 crore in 2009-10, but has grown to sales of Rs 2,000 crore till 2015.

After Foods, beverages, cleaning agents, personal care products and Ayurvedic medicine, Patanjali now have a new target sector, i.e. Private Security Business. According to the yoga guru, the new plan is to “instill patriotic fervor among youngsters and create an ambience conducive for physical and mental development of the trainees.” This means, soon thousands of security guards will be the seen as the brand ambassadors of Patanjali. Pace of Patanjali is expected to grow more after its entry into this Rs 40,000 crore worth private security sector in India.
