This Vogue Cover Is Making The Internet Crazy; Find Out Why
The latest March issue of Vogue magazine is creating lots of unrest in the public as the magazine is accused of using digital trickery to alter the cover. The picture shoes Ashley Graham alongside six other models including Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner for the cover with the title ‘The Beauty Revolution.’
The photo in question has been the focus of much speculation about whether Photoshop was used or whether Graham was forced to pose in a certain way. Graham, who stands second from the left, is the only model in the shot with her hand down on her leg which led to thousands of fans speculating whether she’d been told to pose like that. And if look to zoom version of the picture Gigi’s hand on Ashley’s waist look slightly longer than actual hand.
Many also accused the publication of trying to make Ashley, who openly celebrates her size and the cellulite on her thighs, look thinner. She is the only model to be covering her thigh with her arm and is tucked in behind Liu. Here are some of the reactions from social media.
And as soon as Ashley came to know about this she took to Instagram with a response, clarifying in the comment section on her own page, “I chose to pose like that.. no one told me to do anything.”
