Three more Indian athletes qualify for Rio Olympics 2016
As the Rio Olympic is just couple of months away to get start the news of athletes qualifying and booking their berth for the game is just coming time to time, and here it’s a good news for all the Indian sports lover as two more athletes have qualifies for the Olympics on Sunday .
Long jump athlete Ankit Sharma, sprinter Srabani Nanda and archerer Atanu Das have made it to the qualification mark of Olympics this season.
Srabani Nanda successfully bagged the Rio Olympics berth on Sunday by running 200 m in just 23.07 sec during the World Athletics Championships. On the other hand National record holder Sharma from Madhya Pradesh met the qualification mark of men’s long jump by covering a distance of 8.17 metres.
Whereas 24 year old archer Atanu Das from West Bengal also made it to the list of athletes leaving for Rio in August. The announcement was made by the Archery Association of India after a selection process was held in Bangalore on Sunday.
So we wish all the three best of luck and hope that they bring lots of medals for India.
