He is one of a kind. People love him and some hate him but he surely has a heart of gold and this is what he showed when he auctioned his Ferrari 458 Italia at the famous Barrett Jackson auto auction in Scottsdale. The car went for a cool $434,500 will be donated.
Dressed in a denim jacket embroidered with colorful flora and fauna, the Sorry singer looked right at home discussing the vehicle with possible customers and then the signer took the stage when the biding started.
“Justin is going to donate the proceeds from the auction to charity. He hasn’t decided which one yet, but it will likely be either Pencils of Promise, City of Hope or Children’s Miracle Network — maybe even a combination of the three,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Justin gets such a bad rap but he has a heart of gold. He does so much to give back, and to help those in need, but people never care about that, all they focus on is the times he messes up.”
According to the news source, bidding lasted around three and a half minutes, during which Justin repeatedly sweetened the deal by first throwing in concert tickets, and then also offering up backstage passes.
The auto finally ended up selling for an eye-watering $434,500, which was significantly more than the $250-$300,000 MSRP for a stock example.
