Whatsapp messenger, world’s leading simple, secure and reliable messaging app has now come up with few more features. After building end-to-end encryptions, adding voice and video calls, Whatsapp few months back came with the story-type status update. Now this time, in order to make the working over Whatsapp more easily, the firm has came up with few more updates, which include:

Now, any type of file can be shared on Whatsapp, it may be PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, slideshows and more. Last month, this feature was allowed to the Whatsapp beta users, but now is available on Android’s Play Store for android users. The process is still the same; open the chat, tap on attach, and then select the document.

Users can now change the text format within the chats. Yes! Just press and hold to select the text and you can bold, strikethrough or italicize it easily. This means no need of adding those ‘*’ before and after sentences to make them bold, or copying things from the internet.

For the in-app camera feature, users can swipe up and see all the photos and videos of the gallery. In case of sending the pictures, Whatsapp has made the process much better. Now users don’t have to keep scrolling the pictures and downloading them all one by one because now all the pictures will be showed as one folder. And can be seen separately as well.

The calling displays are also changed in the new update. Now rather than clicking on accept or reject options or swiping left or right, the users will now swipe up to pick up the calls or to reject it.
