Nextbit Robin with 100GB cloud storage, launched in India at Rs 19,999

nextbitNextbit Robin smartphone has been finally launched in India, almost a year after it was launched in the US. It would be exclusively available on Flipkart from Monday (May 30) and has been priced at Rs 19,999.

The latest smartphone claims to manage your phone storage without any manual interference.  The Robin smartphone, besides featuring 32 GB local storage, offers 100 GB of lifetime Amazon cloud storage to its users.
“Our goal is to use AI and machine learning on the phone to really simplify the smartphone experience in a very smart way. We started off with storage solution where a user will never run out of storage on the device and never have to manage storage,”  said Tim Moss, the co-founder and CEO of Nexbit Systems.

The company is developing services with the help of AI and machine learning that will cater to each aspect of the phone.

“Everything on the phone can be personalized to the user, and to perform better,” the executive said, adding that the phone will manage more and more behaviour, so the user has to do less work. “We want to melt the AI and machine learning in a way that helps us sell more phones,” he said.

The Nextbit Robin is a single-SIM capable device that supports LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and other connectivity options.

It comes in two colour variants: Mint and Midnight.
